This phrase couldn’t have better described current requirements for brand growth (even though Gary Vaynerchuk wrote it back in 2017).

But I feel like brands approach this concept in a bit of a forceful way.

It’s most visible in how they create media personalities (a.k.a. brand advocates or evangelists).

These advocates push professional, sometimes salesy, agenda, and forget that a media persona is, first and foremost, a personality.

But is it possible to combine these two, sometimes conflicting, sides in a brand evangelist?
